How I spent my summer vacation. Page 3.

Eternal Jet lag

Here is the mastermind who makes the whole operation move at a nice smooth pace. It is his charisma and charm that keeps us inspired and his guidance that moves us on the right track. This particular photo was taken only seconds before he shouted, "Damn the Russians and their fancy wool socks, this submarine is diving!" and threw himself, face down, into a cheese and mushroom pizza.

The Rockwell Twins

Reiner Scheider and Brandford Darkwah-Oppong are the Rockwell programmers on the project. They are brilliant, friendly and have a great sense of humor. We have been working hard to turn them into twisted maniacs, like us. I am proud to say, they are now well on the way.

Rainer Höllmann (not pictured) is the third Rockwell twin. He is already twisted so our work here is nearly complete.

Lee & Lars

Lee Marley is also vacationing here for the summer. He will be working with the machine for years to come. Ha- ha- ha- ha -ha! His kind disposition and positive attitude is only surpassed by his ability to eat, which he demonstrates here. Also, we have a bonus shot of Lars as he prepares to belch.

A fitting way to end. John Gladwin closing the gates to the plant, for the evening, and heading off to get a good night's rest, so he can return to work early, well rested and ready for a shiny new day!

As football season approaches and a touch of autumn tingles in the evening air, my summer adventure closes. Besides an acute lack of women, and a random act of work, life has been good. Good and strange. Now, it's off to home for another school year, with loads of happy memories and a pocket full of keeno snapshots.
